Uptown Girls

I loved the way this movie explored grief and immaturity from two opposing sides; a grown up who can never move past the day her parents died when she was a kid and a kid whose parents forced her to grow up far too fast.

The constant spinning shots tied everything together perfectly. I wish the teacup scene had gone on longer- it's a perfect representation of Molly and Ray's relationship and how they're moving forward together despite how terrified they both are.

My only real complaint is that I couldn't stand Neal. His music is bad and his relationship with Molly is meaningless. The only good thing that came out of it was Molly telling him to think about someone other than himself for once which shows how much Molly has evolved since the start of the movie.
